Itinerary

The tour begins with an 08:30 am und drive by air-conditioned car for a 2.5-hour drive to Tangkahan. The journey takes you through small villages and palm oil plantations, highlighting the impact of deforestation.
Upon arrival, you will register at the park office and have lunch at the Jungle Lodge restaurant overlooking the river.

After lunch, you have three hours to explore:

Hot Spring Visit

A short walk and a swim across the river lead you to a natural hot spring for swimming and relaxation.

​Local Village Discovery

Join our team to explore the local village.

Elephant Observation

Visit a local afternoon school and observe the Sumatran elephants from a distance during their daily bath.

Return Journey

The return trip to Bukit Lawang starts at 15:00 pm, taking approximately 2 hours.
